My 12-month check-up last week with Dr. Glassman for my endodontic (root canal/gum surgery) was good; I've healed very nicely. They took an x-ray and it will be sent to Dr. Bachus for my records.

Here's how my teeth looked then *before* braces:

I originally booked an appointment to get braces on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Dr. Willy Dayan sees me for about 20 minutes then somebody else spends 2 hours putting metal braces on me. I thought I was going to be going to Mexico mid-March so I rescheduled for March 31st. I didn't end up going anywhere. That money needed to be used for my $2500 down payment. That dollar amount was also part of the payment plan of $260 per month for 20 months. Yes, my totally uninsured orthodontic work is costing me 8 grand, i.e. $8000! I hope the braces come off within 20 months...

Take into consideration my laser eye surgery, above the neck I'm worth quite a lot!
